When Vinnie returned home from his last year of college baseball in 2002 he began coaching as a favor for a family friend and hasn’t missed a season since. He made the move to softball once his daughters started playing, moving from rec to travel ball as their skills and desire increased. Along the way, Vinnie has brought his love of the game, inside the game to the kids he had the pleasure of coaching. There’s only ever been one ruling mantra to his coaching style, it is ALWAYS about the kids. That approach has brought about a lot of fun and successful seasons but more importantly, earned many life-long friendships with previous players and parents throughout the years. 

Focusing on how to play the game and being prepared to take advantage of all the possibilities the game brings your way is how Vinnie has helped players of all ages improve and enjoy the game on a different level. Motivating his players with respect and compassion while helping them to learn to trust their teammates and themselves has helped the teams he has been a part of enjoy a lot of high-fives and W’s.
